Njeru Benjamin is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2017 and further, a post­ graduate diploma at the Kenya School of Law in 2018. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.

He is part of the team of USIKIMYE Pro­Bono Advocates and offers legal aid in various counties of the country. He has interned and worked at various law firms. He has a 6 year experience in Litigation in various courts and tribunals.

Njeru has represented individuals and corporates in different capacities, providing value addition and client specific solutions. He is privileged to sit in several boards in and out of the country.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Njeru has undertaken major advocacy in Commercial transactions and disputes, Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law, Employment Law and the Conveyancing matters. Besides civil practice, Njeru has appeared often for clients in Criminal litigation.

As a Consultant, he is privileged to have advised various entities on Legal Audits and Compliance as well as Tax Planning and Accounting. He is passionate about Media Law, Constitutional Law and Company Law. Aside from consultancy on these facets, Njeru has researched and written extensively on contract disputes, Mergers and Acquisitions and Insolvency.

Njeru Benjamin is the Managing Partner and Head of Company Law at the Law Firm. He is also Head Consultant on Tax Planning, Human Resource Planning and Legal Compliance and Audits.

Mokua Manyara is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2017 and further, a post­ graduate diploma of the Kenya School of Law in 2018.

He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society. He is part of the team of FIDA Pro­Bono Advocates and offers legal aid in various counties of the country. He has also worked at Kituo Cha Sheria as well as interned at various law firms.

He ha s a seven(7) year reign Litigation in various courts and tribunals. Mokua has practiced in the Chief Magistrate’s Courts, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Kenya. He has litigated in various tribunals in the country.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Mokua has undertaken major advocacy in Civil Litigation disputes, Family Law with an emphasis on divorce, custody and adoption proceedings, Employment Law, Insurance Law and the Succession matters. Besides civil practice, Mokua has appeared often for clients in Criminal litigation.

As a Consultant, he is privileged to have advised various entities on Tax Law and Administration.

He is passionate about Sports Law with a specific focus on Football Transfers, Anti­Doping Laws and Arbitration for Sports.

Aside from consultancy on these facets, Mokua has researched and written extensively on sports contracts between clubs and players and the legal framework of international sports organizations and professional sports bodies.

Mokua Manyara is a Senior Partner and Head of Litigation at the Law Firm. He is also the Head Consultant on Sports Law.

Fidel Castro Owino has worked as a Student Intern at MNW& Advocates
LLP for close to a year now. He is handy to the firm with his professional
writing, drafting skills and the extensive legal research and review capabilities.
Fidel’s interests, which are aligned with Commercial Litigation, Tax, Insurance and the course for Social Justice and Human rights, are key cornerstones of the legal profession which he seeks to tap from the firm. His skills and improvement are an embodiment of the firm’s commitment to nurture and mentor upcoming lawyers who will prospectively join the junior bar.

Castro, who is in his last year of his undergraduate studies at the University of Nairobi, is set to join the Kenya school of Law early in the year of 2024. He is a key asset to the firm and is on a steady path to becoming a key player in the industry under the guide of the firm’s senior members.
